Brent Pease

Brent Pease has been a part of the Dynamo Family since 2009, first as an athlete and now as a coach. He completed his first Iron-distance race in 2010. Since then he has gone on to complete ten Iron distance races and numerous 70.3 & Olympic distance races. Brent also competes in triathlons with his brother Kyle who was born with cerebral palsy. Together they help other disabled athletes compete in the multisport & endurance sporting world through their organization, The Kyle Pease Foundation. Brent & Kyle most recently completed the Ironman World Championships in 2018, becoming the first pair of brothers to do so.

Brent a native of Atlanta, swam at Woodward Academy and graduated from Florida State University. After school Brent worked on multi family high rise construction management before transitioning to the endurance world. Brent draws on the lessons he has learned since coming to Dynamo to create programming for his athletes. Brent has coached athletes to their first Ironman finish, sprint triathlons, Boston Marathon Qualifiers and Ironman Hawaii finishers. He works with athletes of all abilities to reach their individual goals.

Matthew Rose

Matthew Rose started his coaching career as a swimming coach at Stanford University and later at Arizona State University. He left the coaching world to become a management consultant where in his free time began to train for and to compete in triathlons. His love for triathlon led him back to coaching, partnering with the famed Dynamo Swimming Club to begin Dynamo Multisport in 2008. Matthew and his wife, Elizabeth, raise their three children in Atlanta where he continues to support Dynamo and coach a small group of amateur and professional athletes.

  • More than thirty Ironman Hawaii Qualifiers, including professional qualifiers and three Age Group prodiums finishes at the Ironman World Championship

Stacy Sims

Stacy has been part of the Dynamo family since 2014 as a coached athlete and 2017 as a coach. She was previously coaching on her own before joining us here at Dyanmo.

Stacy is a USAT Level 1 Certified coach. She competed in her first Iron distance in 2011 and since has finshed 7 Iron distance races, numerous 70.3's and Olympic distances. She has been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2003 and is also certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer.

Stacy is a native of Atlanta and also has a small massage therapy business in Roswell.

Rebecca Carpenter

Rebecca Carpenter has coached athletes of all ages and distances since 2011, in addition to serving as Head Coach of the Dynamo Multisport Juniors team.  She enjoys helping athletes achieve their potential, from beginner-level up to ITU and Ironman world championship qualifiers. A competitive swimmer since the age of 9, her love for the triathlon lifestyle was sparked in 2005 by a dare with a co-worker that continues today.

Rebecca uses her own racing experience and engineering background in her coaching approach to design individualized training plans. She understands her athletes have multiple priorities competing for their time and works with each athlete to create a plan to meet his/her goals. In our dynamic lifestyles, she believes strong communication between the athlete and coach is key to delivering high quality plans.

Rebecca is excited to work with busy professionals to help them reach their active lifestyle goals. She loves coaching adults, youth, and high school athletes to instill an active lifestyle and use sport as life lessons to build and teach character.

Rebecca is married to husband, Kris, also an avid endurance athlete.

Haley Chura

Haley Chura is one of the founding athletes of the Dynamo family and is now using her vast experience in endurance sports to formally pass on to others as a one of our coaches.  While racing as a Dynamo Multisport coached age-group athlete, Haley qualified for the Ironman World Championship four times, with two age-group podium appearances. She was also on the podium in the 70.3 World Championship and was the overall women’s champion at the 2012 USAT Olympic Distance Age Group National Championship.

Haley has coached with Dynamo Multisport since 2013 and her athletes’ accomplishments have included: qualification slots for the Ironman and 70.3 World Championships, qualification to race in the professional category, multiple age group podium finishes at local, regional, and national races from sprint to Iron-distance. Haley has worked with athletes ranging from 25-year-old professionals to 70-year-old rookies. 

In addition in 2013, Haley left her accounting job to go all-in with triathlon as a professional. In her first year as a pro she won her first 70.3 title in New Orleans, finished 5th at Ironman Brasil, and was the first woman out of the water at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. She has followed up her rookie year earning the crown of Ironman Fortaleza champion and placing 3rd at the Ironman Augusta 70.3.

Haley is also a  co-host of the Ironwomen Podcast and enjoys interviewing professional triathletes and women from all areas of endurance sport as well as answering listener questions and offering an insider look at her life as a professional triathlete. Haley lives, trains, and podcasts from Bozeman, Montana. .
